Windows Defender is stupid

Hmm, haven't tried it in safe mode. Defender is still in beta though, submit something to MS about it if you really want it in Defender.
 
Windows Defender is not something I keep in my "toolkit" when I clean customers computers because there are better alternatives. I knew that it could not be installed in safe mode, but I wasn't aware that it couldn't be updated. Even though it's free I rarely recommend it.
