Windows calendar desktop client

Does anyone know of a windows XP calendar application that syncs well with google calendars?

at my work we use google to host our email and calendars, but most of the office staff don't like to use a web browser to check their emails and calendars.

preferably i would use an app that automatically opens and syncs with google at start up.

for some of our tasks i want to be able to share calendars between certain people and google calendars seems to be great for this. i normally use a mac and i'm out of practice now with windows. any help would be appreciated.

I think rainlendar does that.

It's web site says "With Rainlendar Pro you can subscribe to online calendars and share your events with other computers. You can also see and edit your Outlook appointments and tasks in Rainlendar (Windows only)."

I used to use the free version but don't have experience with the Pro version.
