Windows boot error "liteinst.exe"

Today when I got to work and booted up my laptop I got an error message saying "Lite lnstaller has encoutered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the in convenience". The application causing the problem is liteinst.exe.

I ran msconfig and did not find any reference to liteinst.exe or Logitech currently enabled. The only thing I have installed recently is MS Net Meeting. Liteinst.exe has something to do with my logitech web camera. I have tried to uninstall the logitech camera but I cant, I have also tried to remove netmeeting but cant.

When I run a search on liteinst.exe it shows up in my C:\Windows\Preftech directory.

I am running Windows XP Home with SP1. My laptop is a Compaq Presario 905 (Athlon XP1500, 256 Mb, Radeon Mobility set to 64 Mb).

The error log is as follows;

Any help is appreciated

Another way to get rid of it would be to locate the
file "backweb.exe" and rename it.

The BackWeb Software gets installed with Logitech Mice,
Western Digital's Data Lifeline, as well as others.
Its purpose is to do Silent Monitoring\Updates to whatever it is installed with.

You can also just delete the Folder \BACKWEB, normally located in the
PROGRAM FILES directory.
