Windows App Reviews ?

I got a Windows 8.1 tablet and am looking for app reviews.
The Windows Store is horrendous compared to the Apple store.
Search results are crap and filled with junk fake pay apps and it's hard to differentiate the real apps.
(ex. search for Facebook and you get 50 apps and the real official Facebook app is not at the top of results or in a "verified" section.)

There are tons of sites for Apple app reviews, but I can't find any good ones for Windows apps.

Where do you go for Windows app reviews?
Google results have way too many fake aggregator sites.

My tablet has full blown Win8.1, so the apps are extremely important as I can simply use my browser...

I find reddit to be useful for this kind of thing.

I have a surface and it's the only place I've found that has a user base who actually enjoy the thing. I tend to follow these subreddits. Some app recommendations come from all of them.

There is always Youtube if you are looking for reviews for a specific application.

Otherwise look at PCMag, they have reviews for some of the most popular apps, ones that may be beneficial to you.

It's easy to google an app name and find a review.
I am more looking for a top list of favorite apps that I don't know about.

The same top 10 apps are listed everywhere and they all suck compared to iOS.
