Hi Inverse, I cold booted 3 times.. On the 3rd attempt, I finally got it seek and go after the next critcal update. It also listed all the secondary updates... that is good... I downloaded the next one, the Windows XP sp1 patch. Then it wanted me to archive the old files just in case I wanted to uninstall sp1 win xp. Well I said yes to archive... which it said would take significant hard drive space. Well as it was installing, it said 200 then 300 the 450 minutes to install. I cancelled the process. I am going to wait on Win XP SP1 until some posts here about their sucessful archive and installation... Guinea pig out.
