The menu (the one where u can choose safe mode) appears EVERY time i boot or reboot the PC. I can choose normal bootup, and the computer runs perfectly, but it appears every time. Anyone have ideas???

GO to Start -> Run type msconfig and pres enter In here there is a option for Show start up menu on boot uncheck that. I think its in a menu called advanced. Sorry but its been a long time since I used 98

In msconfig, General menu, Advanced button. Enable Startup Menu is the option.
