Windows 98 SE Install question

When you are installing Win98Se does it ask you for any kind of confirmation number that comes with the booklet or anything?
I'm getting it from friend, who isn't running Win98SE anymore, and I was wondering if I had to ask him to find the booklet, which I don't think he has anymore? It is an OEM copy.

Yes you will need the code that came on the CD cover to install it

The CD came in one of those little plastic pocket things, so It looks like I'll be searching for the booklet. If I can't find it I'm screwed!!!!:|

u could try to find the CD Key on the net
go search for Windows 98 SE CD Key.
