I need to format my computer and perhaps run fdisk but Im using Windows XP Home and cant reboot in DOS, of course, and I don't have a floppy so I cant make a floppy bootdisk.

Is there a way to make a bootable CD that would work just like a normal floppy bootdisk?

Thanks.

If you have Nero, probably could download free trial version if need be.....How-to make a BootableCD.

ah...you don't have a floppy drive, didn't catch that @ first....but you should be able to download boot files from the site save to have drive...should be able to work around.

Oh, woops, I forgot to mention that the CD I am using is a recovery CD and not exactly an XP Home CD... I wish I knew where that one was. :( So that means the format function doesnt work.

Usually, recovery CDs give you the choice of formating before restoring the image.
