Does anyone know if there is a way to disable it?!

I would rather see my AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS doing their thing--without having to press ESC. :)

I believe a program called TweakUI available from Microsoft let you do it in Win95. I don't know of any other ways to do it.

there might be a way to disable it in msdos.sys. its been a while though has something to do with logo.sys. remember to attrib -R -H it first and to reapply the attributes before restarting. Other than that Just use TweakUI to be safe.

I'm assuming TweakUI makes the change to MSDOS.SYS, but I would rather make that edit manually. No reason, really, other than not wanting to use TweakUI. Call me anal.

Any Microsoft programmers out there?

I disabled my splash logo this way:

Edit the msdos.sys, adding this line in the end:

logo=0

and save.
Next boot up, no splash screen.
