Well to be fair, you bought a 2.5 year old OS when it's commonly known that its successor was due out at the end of this year. That's just bad timing on your part.😛

Microsoft was supposed to know you were going to buy their operating system 2.5 years later? Let alone care? They are not forcing you to upgrade. It's been common knowledge that Microsoft was going to release Windows 8 this year. You just timed your purchase poorly and are now mad at Microsoft for sticking with their release cycle that they've been using since Vista and even before.
