I even tried 331.58 but no difference.

I upgraded all the PC's in my house to Windows 8.1. However i was unable to update a brand new HP Envy (fresh from the cardboard box) which a friend bought. My guess is it's the crapware that comes with the OS, but i wasn't ready to spend hours cleaning out all of it.

Of all the laptop brands I've used in the past 20 years, HP was my least liked.
