I'm hoping in the final 8.1, that the list of apps in the app view will have the option to be segregated into folders. Right now I have a hundred or so icons, it's kind of a pain to find the one icon that I seek.
I know I can use the search feature in the charms bar. I guess I'm looking for a better solution using just the mouse.

Metro apps will have the ability to be sorted into categories based on what they show up in the store.

I just have to say, that i cannot get warm with these fullscreen apps and wish i could disable them completely. I know that Stardock has a prog, but their Start8 broke in 8.1 so I would give that a try just yet.

You can change the defaults off all the fullscreen apps.
