That's pretty much it. The only other significant change is that USB 3 requires ports to support 900mA (4.5W) for connected devices, whereas USB 2 only required 500mA (2.5W).a random question

As thumb drives keep getting larger and larger with faster speeds, do you guys think we will see motherboards with internal USB ports so thumb drives can be used as cheap SSD's....Run your OS off of an internal 8 gig thumb drive and keep everything else on seperate drives runing raid.
