Lets say the power suddenly goes off, or there's a BSOD, or a freeze. Basically anything that causes the computer to turn off improperly.
When I start the computer after that, it is extremely slow to boot. It stutters at the login screen. The revolving dots keep pausing randomly, and it takes an extraordinary amount of time to login.
Even after the desktop is visible, the icons take a long time to appear. Basically the system is rendered unusable for around 2-3 minutes.
This was not a problem with Win 7. Even after an improper shutdown, it booted up normally.
Anything I can do to fix this?
