I had all my movies in my public folder and my ps3 picked up and played them just fine. I just added 2 x 1 tb hdds in raid 1, to keep my movies, music, and pics.

Now on the 1tb drive I have three movie folders(standard, high deff, family). Through sharing I have been able to see one or the other file and movies, not both. on the ps3. Most of the time the movies come up as corrupted files.

I have never been able to get music to work, dunno if ps3 does mp3???

How do I need to file my movies to share with ps3 and still keep them seperated? I would probably need a step by step, as everything I try makes the ps3 loose connect all togather. Thanks for the help!

Wow that was eazy and painless, thanks.

The only issue is the cpu ussage, just to play 1 song the cpu(quad @ 3gig) spikes to 50% on all cores every other second?????

When playing 1080p movie there is no cpu ussage!
