Windows 7 Sleep

Is there a way to change the property of the sleep power action button, so when you hit sleep it doesn't sleep but put turns the monitor off?

I will try to download a large file. I turn off sleep function through power options, so it doesn't automatically sleep. Then one of my family members will use the computer and put it to sleep.

I've tried Insomnia and it will not override a user action. Any ideas?

Doesn't the "do nothing" only control the physical button?

I should have been more clear in my post. My problem is family members going to the start menu and hitting sleep. When I go to the power button properties in the start menu, the only options I see is:
Switch User, Log Off, Lock, Restart, Sleep and Shut Down

Even when I tell the computer to never sleep, when someone uses the power button through the start menu and clicks on sleep, it goes to sleep.
