We have a client that forgot their windows 7 password on their user account (not the admin account) and I'm confused about logging into the administrator account. We have the password for the administrator account, we just can't access it from the welcome screen.
Most instructions I find online specify to log into the administrator account, but windows 7 doesn't have the option like XP had to bring up the logon screen by hitting ctrl-alt-delete twice. I see instructions to enable this option, but you need to be logged in to do this, by default it is disabled.
Does anyone know another way to get into the administrator account from the welcome screen in windows 7?
I could always do a password reset with a 3rd party boot CD, I was just wondering if anyone knows a quick and easy way like XP had.
