Am I likely to run into the ""now-well-known "wake from sleep prob if you have a Realtek NIC/sound" prob."?

Just to add to this discussion, would it be wise to put Windows 7 RC on a new build as the primary OS? I had the idea that I could buy a new mobo/CPU/RAM combo (prices are usually down in the summer here), use the RC, and then just replace it with the final version when it goes on sale in October. Seems no point in paying a fortune for a Vista since the OEM copies are still pretty expensive here in Canada ($140 on average, $30 overpriced according to today's exchange rate). Does it make sense or am I asking for trouble?

Provided you operate with the full outlook/understanding/acknowledgement that you will have to do a clean install for the "real" version of 7...
go for it.
