Apple is merely getting taken from behind by Intel. After years of falsely proclaiming that their PowerPC chips were faster, they inevitably were forced to make a deal with the unstoppable force of Intel. Luckily it was an easy sell for Apple and co, as their blind believers accept everything that Jobs says as gospel. It has been reported that even the most ardent PowerPC supporter became an Intel fanboi 5 minutes after Jobs said they were switching over Intel. I think that even if it's not on purpose, Intel and Microsoft have NDA agreements and they share what each other future plans are, so this kind of thing could be a unconsciousness leak
