Windows 7, No Sound

Just built a computer a month or so ago and it was working beautifully.

I just installed windows 7 and since then I cannot get the sound to work. Windows isntalled its own drivers for it and I installed the drivers off of the foxconn website for Realtek.

The MOBO is a Foxconn A7DA-S and it was working fine on XP, but since the upgrade two sets of speakers will not work.

Is this a mobo problem or a driver problem?

Odd! I've done a half dozen Win7 installs on rigs with Realtek sound chips and they all worked with the driver Windows has. Even the 64bit installs.

I had a problem with Windows trying to tell me the speakers were not plugged in, and refused to output audio.
I knew damn well they were plugged in but couldnt find a workaround.
Eventually I just used the USB audio (which actually doesnt sound as good but at least it works.
