How to I get it to just be normal like older operating systems?
Example: I right click a .divx vid file from a website and save it onto my desktop.
I go to my desktop and it's not there. I right click and the window that asks me
my save destination is the only way I can view the file. The default location is
set to Desktop and there isn't any other folders, just one destination which is the
default. I also noticed if I go to the window which asks my save destination, and
I check the properties of the video file under the security tab, it has a red X that
states "The requested security information is either unavailable or cannot be displayed". It behaves like this and says the same thing under the security tab for any file I save from this website. It didn't do this before. The only thing that I can think of that has changed was that Sun Java updated. The website uses Java (Ninjavideo) Any help will be appreciated. Is there a way I can just save it to my desktop and actually see it?
I don't want to use that annoying Windows 7 libraries feature, any way to just disable it?
Thanks.
UPDATE - I went to CNN's website to test and see if I could try different websites. I saved the banner as a .GIF file and it showed up in my desktop. I think the problems lies with video files.
