Windows 7 + Firefox + FoxIt PDF Reader

Anyone else tried this combo? When I click on a PDF in Firefox, it locks up. I have to actually end the firefox.exe process to get it working again. Any suggestions on how to get it working?

I have found the FoxIt has gone downhill and is now full of spyware.

I recommend the Abobe reader, unfortunately. I had major problems with FoxIt under Windows 7 as well. The PDFs were showing up blank and stuff. The spyware was installed even if I chose not to install it.

If Sumatra is not enough try PDF-Xchange http://www.docu-track.com/home...ange_Tools/pdfx_viewer does not say compatible with 7 directly though. Does come in a 64bit version if that matters.

PDF-Xchange is pure as snow - or was last I installed. Will probably get "infected" as well.

I installed foxit without the firefox integration and I don't have any problems. I am however getting a little concerned that yet another 'lightweight' application is starting to get bloated having gone up 20% in size between versions, probably for that fancy start-up splash that delays loading + the extra graphics.
