Windows 7 dual boot question; also wi-fi issue

So I installed Windows 7 alongside Vista. However, currently the default OS during boot-up is Windows 7. Is there any way that I can change it so that it's Vista? I prefer to start up my computer, walk away, and then see my Vista log-in screen when I get back instead of always having to enter the boot-up prompt.

Also, is anyone else having issues w/ their wireless? Win7 doesn't seem to detect my card, but it works fine in Vista.

i'm having problems with my wireless too. mine gets detected sometimes, but it does not connect. i've been trying it since the beta's release. all Linux distributions i've tried had no problem. well, a beta is a beta.

on Win7:

1) r-click My Computer > Properties > Advanced System Settings.
2) Advanced tab > Startup and Recovery > Settings > Default OS.

you can also try in win7:

Start key
type "msconfig" (in the start menu search bar) - Press Enter
Set default OS in the second tab.

I think it preserves more or less the same msconfig interface that you find in XP and Vista

i've been trying to connect to my wireless router for the last 2 weeks. the drivers actually install, but no way in hell i can connect. and what is worse: if i reboot back to WinXP, XP -- which always connected to the wireless router without a problem -- starts giving errors.

it's as if an attempt to use the wireless connection from Win7 "taints" the router in some way that makes it reject wireless connections from other OSs.... even Linux! so odd....

i finally got my Win7 to work with my wireless router. the problem was the outdated firmware on the router. i got an updated one at my ISP's website. the file was "hidden", but i found a link to the page that hosted it on the Broadband Reports forum.

ironxman99, call your ISP and see if you can update the router.
