Windows 7 "Consider replacing your battery" message

I started getting this on my laptop today, and I was wondering if there was some way to disable it. I don't care what Windows thinks I should do with my battery, since it works fine for me and I have no plans to replace it. The message is annoying, since now I can't even see the estimated remaining battery life, and it constantly blinks away in the taskbar. Any suggestions?

On the warning box there should be a check box or place to click " Do not show this again ". I had the same on Win 7 and just told it not to remind me again.

Hmm, not seeing it. All it says is "There is a problem with your battery, so your computer might shut down suddenly."

I have officially solved this problem,

1. Flip your laptop sideways in a smooth fashion (fast but not too fast) while the charger is plugged in

(lift your laptop slightly in the air and hold the left side and push it upwards to the right direction and smoothly push it back and down)

The errors and inconvenient messages will instantly dissapear!



Try it yourself, maybe try more than once if it doesn't work, I'm running a HP Pavillion and it fixed it.

Have you checked the battery's charge level? If you think the battery should be charged, and it's not, there could be a problem with your battery or the charging system.

Under XP, I intentionally run my laptop until I get that warning every week or two, just because that's supposed to be help extend the life of the battery.
