windows 7 black screen?

hey guys.

when i start up my desktop and windows is loading, the screen goes black for a little bit and windows desktop finally shows up.

any help? thanks

How long is a little bit? That's normal behavior as long as the time frame isn't ridiculously long.

That's pretty long. I'm guessing it's hanging on loading drivers, but I don't know enough to point you in the right direction :^/
