WINDOWS 2K PROPER "WINVER"

Hey, want to check something out...
When you do a "winver" at the start run or command prompt, what does it say. I would like answers from people who bought win2k. what is teh version and build number.

I want to know because I am installed SP1 on my version of win2k and adv serv (my win2k says the say thing without "Service Pack 1&quot😉 and it has cause fatal problems with my pc. Are there any hardware issues?? are you guys running duel boots? I have a duel boot with 98se. my partitions go:

c: fat32
d: NTFS
e: NTFS
f: FAT32
e: FAT32

I also have a Promise Ultra66 card in my machine, but my hardrive is not on it. Any ideas why SP1 isn't working?

P.S. I have have to re partition my NTFS drives and re-partition them then re-install 2k 4 times already, so I kinda don't want to do that again!

Try uninstalling the service pack and see if that helps (provided you picked the option to uninstall the SP at the initial setup).

BTW, I too have the same version numbers as already mentioned. 😉
