Windows 2003 Server Driver issues...argh

I'm running win2k3 server on my home network, yes, its legal i get it for free from school for being in the IS department.

anyways, ive got a realtek gigabit network adapter, 8169 chipset, and i am having the worst time finding drivers for 2003, i know it works in 2000, but i'd like to run 2003. in any case, does anyone have a driver for this? realtek doesnt list one, other websites list it, but it appears to only be for windows 64bit edition....XP/NT /2000 drivers are no go's

HELP!
I'm also baffled because my 3com card doesnt work either, yet i plug a random usb 10/100 nic in and it works like a champ, same with my wifi card in the server. with the realtek and 3com, it gives me a "invalid ip address" (169.254.*.*) and gives the option to repair but does nothing and cant contact the DHCP server....HELP!!! PLEASE!!!

Even more weirdness....my other win2k3 box has two dlink network cards in it....running win2k3, same version, it works fine, even on m$ft's default driver.....this computer however, doesnt take well to it....please tell me this is an easy fix...i've never run into this in my life!
