Windows 2003 SBS Share Folder Issues

Hi, I am having one very strange problem with my network setup.

I have 1 windows 2003 SBS server and 3 xp pro boxes in the domain. I want to share the folder in the 2003 server box with the 3 xp pro boxes. Everything works fine. However, the strange thing is when the XP pro boxes are left on over night, it requires a reboot to access the network folder. I cannot even browse through the network other than seeing the domain name. The network connection is fine, I can ping the server.

Any suggestions?

Try checking the power save mode on the nics of the xP pro boxes?
This shouldnt be the case if he can ping the server.

Sworshs do you see anything noted in the application/security/system event logs related to this?

I've check the event log, everything seems to be running fine. It seems like a time out issue. After leaving the XP box overnight, I try to browse through the network, it took a long time, but eventually an authentication box came up. I wasn't able to use the existing user name that is log onto the network(it said the user already login), but rather, use another account lets me get into the shared folder.

iDrive: Thanks for the suggestion, it's not the nic, cuz the xp box can still use the internet and everything, just can't access the server.

Administrative Tools/User Rights Assignments or Security settings(?) has a setting to automaticly log out a user after a certain period of inactivity.

it's set to NEVER expired. Everything is pretty much left at default. I don't know why I am having such a hard time. I never had this problem back when we were using Win2k.
