I am running Windows 2000 on my home computer and since the rest of the family needs access to the machine, I wanted a way to protect my files/applications/setttings, etc. Of course I have myself set up with an admin account with full access rights.
I tried creating additional logons with more limited access rights, however all additional accounts are unable to access installed software (MS Word, etc.) without it being reinstalled. What a major pain...
Is there an easy way to install all the programs I want and then give each account access to some of them? Or better yet just create one account the way I want it and copy and paste it to create a logon for each family member? There are a similar feature under WinME.
Thank you.
