Windows 2000 Server Hardware Requirements

I would like to install Windows 2000 Server for learning purposes. Do I really need 128-256MB of Ram? Also, what's the minimum MHZ speed that I really need.

I've been runnig 2000 server for 2 week with a k6-2 450mhz and 128 sdram. For now its all good but i'm not running any hardcore services yet.

I am running advanced server on a Deskpro PII400 with 128, but, like DreamKazz, I haven't put it to the test, yet. I don't run it every day because it's dual boot with 98 and I have finally become comfortable with that (since switching from NT to play games!).

I would say no less then 300MHz with no less than 64mb as a minimum.

Win2k PRO doesnt run as well as I want it too with my celeron 300a and 128mb ram.

Win2K server you really want a P2-300MHz processor. Don't even think of running it on less than 128MB of RAM.

Minimum requirement for RAM is 64MB for Win2K Pro, 128MB for Win2K Server.

You're gonna need at least 256 RAM. I had 128 megs in my system. And I keep getting memory dump. I had to went back to W2K Pro.
