Hello, if I have a webiste that uses ASP and has large jpgs on the page, will a Windows 2000 Proxy server cache the images? The Win2k Proxy is serving a LAN of about 500 and I dont want everyone to have to wait for the same image.

Is the machine internal or external???
If it is internal and you are running a 100mb lan it woudltn do you any good to turn on a proxy server as you are fast enough already. Now if this server is outside and people are going to go thorugh the proxy server to get too it then yes it will cache them and it will be faster for subsequent users who go to that site.
