Will 3D graphics card suck at Windows 2000 Professional, and will I still be able to play games such as Counter Strike, Quake 3, Unreal Tournament, Max Payne, Elite Force on it?

Will my GTS lose fps on Windows 2000?
 
actually in win 2k i gained frame rate

yes u can play all your games as long they support it (and even if they dont support it most of them seem to work like red faction)
 
As compared to what OS?

I have 2 Game rigs on Win2k, one on 98se, one on XP-PRO.

Win2K is stable and framerate is excellent - performs better than the 98se.

XP-Pro is still being put through the paces - but so far is coming up roses.

Looks like XP will be my next mainline game rig.
