Windows 2000 Pro clean install or not?

I have been thinking about do clean install Win2k pro or can I overwrite it? I have two 40GB hard drives and many of good programs/sharewares but hate to lose it. The reason is that I want to install win2k pro without oem on it so I can upgrade to SP4 some of my programs refused to install cuz of SP2 on it.

What do you think?

I think you answered your own question.

Go with the CLEAN install. SP4 installs easier that way.
(even though it still sux)
