Anyone having problems with Detonator W2K drivers? I've just upgraded to W2K, and have a Diamond TNT2 card. The "Micrsoft supplied" driver for the TNT2 card works fine; except that UT and Q3A won't run period. The Nvidia supplied drivers (tried 5.16 and 5.22) don't take. The screen comes up 640x480, and blue screens when I try to go into Control panel->Display.

I'd like to play Q3A, UT, and other games/apps, but they don't play well with Microsoft's TNT2 driver.

Help!!! Thanks!

Try the 532s, I hear nVidia has made progress, and now win2k is as fast or faster than win98.

Yup, just switched to Win2000 from WinMe, myself. My Geforce DDR works like a charm with the 5.32 drivers. I'm still sort of a newbie at this 2000 thing, but so far I like it. I can do everything that I did under 98/Me, and it's MUCH more stable.

Okay, tried the 5.32 Nvidia drivers....same result. Diamond (oops, I guess S3) says W2K is supported and the drivers come with W2K (i.e. the Microsoft-supplied drivers).

Here's my system...maybe I'm overlooking something?

Asus P3V4X (AGP 4x enabled)
PIII 733
128MB HSDRAM
Diamond Viper 770

If I have to stick with the MS drivers, I'm just going to go back to Win98. Ugh....

Thanks for the help.
