ok guys (and gals)heres my problem i got to install win2k on a newly formatted hard drive the initial setup goes fine I.E copinging the WINNT folder then the system reboots i had my boot order setup for floppy, cdrom, hd0, and when it reboots i get "press any key to boot from cdrom" i dont press it and i get "error loading operating system" if i do press any key setup does the same thing it just did copying the WINNT folder

i have a tyan sd138D dual processor MB everything is unplugged but the Video Card
help?
 
If you made the partition during the w2k install, it will be active by default. Try switching the boot order so that the hd0 comes first. Also, do you have multiple hard disks? If so, are you sure it's hd0 that has w2k installed?

On the off chance that you're using any sort of RAID controller, PCI IDE controller, or SCSI controller, make sure that you set the drive up inside that bios instead of your system bios.
