Windows 2000 Error

I get the following error in Event Viewer under the Application Log:

Unable to open the Server service. Server performance data will not be returned. Error code returned is in data DWORD 0.

What is this and how do I fix it?

heh, I don't know what it is, but if you want to get rid of the message, you can always disable the server service under the control panel.

Win2k beta 3 blew up on me. It destroyed the FAT, but that is my only win 2k complaint, as the final version is great

I get that too, but didn't have time to check it out....

This error generally occurs because of the File and Print Sharing Service. Try reinstalling those.

Give me some more information about the event log error and I can help farther.
