Windows 2000 & ATA-100 Controllers

Ok, I'm running Windows 2000 and I'm about to replace my motherboard with one that has built in ATA-100 controllers (Intel 815e)

This is an ASUS CUSL2 board, I'll have a Promise Ultra 66 controller pluged into it as well.

Will Windows 2000 see the controller just fine, do I need a hotfix of some kind? I've heard there are problems using ATA-100 with W2K.

Thanks for the help in advance. 🙂

Lot of good info there reguarding this board and Windows 2000. And on the main page there is the latest Intel drivers for the i815 chipset that you'll need after loading up W2K. Just make sure to load the Intel drivers in " safe mode with prompt " in W2K when updating.
