Windows 2000 Admin profile gone?

TempusIrae

I've always used the power user profile I've created in Windows 2000 but recently I looked into my administrator profile and the folder was gone. It doesn't stop there, my password doesn't seem to work either. Anyway I can overtake this and creat a new one?

Thank You

Ed

It might never have been there. A user folder in Documents and Settings is not created until someone logs on as that user.

If you can somehow get access to an account with admin privileges (like domain or enterprise adim) just reset your password. BTW you didn't rename your admin account, did you? If you want to guess the password, might want to just try typing nothing in (defaults to this if you didn't specify anything during the install) or "password" (just about everyone uses this after a couple MS classes).
