After yesterdays update my Win 11 Pro is now an Insider Preview version. I never asked for that. If I follow suggestions to exit the panel says Some of these settings are managed by my Organization. I am my Organization! How do I get out of the program? This is what was installed: 2025-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5060842). 2025-06 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5060829) is available. THAT sounds like an Insider update.

I've got Windows 11 Pro on my LG Gram laptop -- which I sort of hate, wishing I'd bought an Acer Nitro.
And -- I sort of hate Windows 11. For weeks, I've been fretting over the October EOL of Win 10 support, but getting my old systems set up to take the ESU subscription update and keep them alive and secure. And THEN I was looking at two possibilities: Buying a pre-built OEM gaming rig like the Alienware Aurora, or building my own. The expense -- once I've picked my options or the parts -- is roughly in the same ball-park. And THEN I'm thinking that I NEED to buy a new car while I wait for $1,000 steering-gearbox rebuild for my 30-year-old SUV.

So I say "BULLSHIT!!" Drive the old SUV; use 0Patch if there's any trouble with ESU; continue to window-shop computer parts; and otherwise spend nothing and take my time.
