Hello-
I am having computer problems that will likely require me to replace my motherboard with the same make and model, but a physically different board. I was using one of those M2 Samsung drives as a boot drive, and had a second internal mechanical hard drive for storage. On the second mechanical hard drive is my back-up system image created with the Windows backup and restore function. When I build this system, it was a clean Windows 10 install and I have the disc.
So if I unplug all my stuff, put the new MB in, then plug everything back in, including my M2 Samsung boot drive, I *assume* that when I turn my computer on, it WILL NOT boot from my M2 Samsung boot drive with my old system info, correct?
If it won't simply reboot from my old M2 boot drive and give me my old system back, what's the best/easiest way to get my old backed up system back?
Thanks.
