Windows 10 sleep mode

Any reason why I put my PC to sleep at night then in the morning its running at what sounds like full power?
Is it a scan or back up setting?

It is running (screen on and everything) or frozen in the morning?

If running, does the fan slow down when you start using the computer?

Windows Backup, System Restore, Disk Defrag, are some options. Do you have an AV that runs every night?

I don't have Windows 10 on a device that runs overnight, so maybe someone else here has seen what experiencing.

If you put it to sleep during the daytime maybe you'd get an idea of when it turned back on, i.e. exactly 1 hour, 4 hours, or if it was random. Might help solve it?

Would something like an event viewer say what occurred?

Any chance it has a setting like "wake on mouse" that got flipped, and you have a pet in the house?

At first I thought it was the cat hitting the mouse but its a retractable keyboard and I need to move the mouse substantially to get it to wake up. Powering it off really isn't a problem but this baffles me.
