windows 10 crashes

Windows 10 has crashed about six times since I upgraded from windows 8 about a week ago, requiring a complete power down to recover. After the latest one it won't start up properly and displays a blue screen with a white circle going round and round indefinitely, with no error message of any kind. Should I leave it overnight and see if it recovers or try a recovery USB drive I made a few days ago.

You can also insert a Flash drive or DVD with 10 on it and choose to "upgrade." It will re-install Windows, keeping your current software and personal data in tact.

Try booting into safe mode and running sfc /scannow from a command prompt and see if it will fix the corrupt system files. Otherwise just insert the windows 10 dvd and boot off it selecting repair and let it correct the bad system files for you.
