Windows 10 Build Question

Just fired up and went through updates on this Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G-53VG

It says windows 10 build 10586.545 which from google says it is a mobile version of windows. I am an insider on my desktop and signed in to the same account on the Acer.

Could that be the cause of not seeing the anniversary update?

Not everyone got the anniversary update at the same time. But the "learn more" link should take you right to it.

Also, I am pretty sure Insider is per install, so you will have you join with that one if you want the same jump on changes.

The 10586.545 is OK it is for Both.

You have two options.

1, Be patient and sometime in the near future the 1607 upgrade would bt itself to your system

2. Download the version of 1607 that suits your system. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO/

Make from the ISO a bootable DVD or USB Drive.

Upgrade your current version of Win 10..

I appreciate it, I was curious about it, usually I could just 'fetch' it but I am assuming they are rolling it out even when you check for updates.

This is a pretty snappy laptop for the price btw.
