Solved! Windows 10 1903 user download folder sorting problem.

It seems now 1903 sorted the download folder using date first. It uses Today, Yesterday, Earlier this week, Last Week, Earlier this month, Last month, Earlier this year, and A long time ago, then sorting by folder, then file name.

Is there any way to revert back to just sorting by folder, then file name? This is really annoying.
 
Ok, is that date received ?
Folder files can be sorted by numerous factors, including date received. On a blank space in the folder, rt clk,/sort by/more/is "date received" checked ?
 
No. The only 4 columns checked were Name, Date Modified, Type & Size.

OK , found the problem. Somehow Explorer's View, Group by Date Modified was selected. Deselecting it fixed the problem. 😀

Yeah, that's a new annoyance with 1903's default setting. Unfortunately, it can be hard to get that settings change to be "sticky", and stay that way. 🙁
