Windowed mode Crysis in vista 64

so im trying to play crisis in vista and it open in a window instead of full screen

i played with the resolution and that changes the size of the window, but does not go completely full screen

how do i launch the game in full screen ??????? please help

Usually works with most games-- just add +fullscreen 1 to the shortcut properties name.

You're probably launching it in DX10, right? That would be it.

I am not the OP, but I think even if you do that.
It's going to start in Windowed mode anyway the next time you fire up the game.

If you select it through the options panel, and as long as you exit the game normally with no crashes, it should open fullscreen on next start. At least that's how both Crysis and Warhead work for me (Vista Ult. 64).

I have had problem with the mouse when playing both of Crysis games in full screen mode.
In other words the mouse icon just becomes invisible.
At window mode everything is fine however.
Go figure.

If you've got the game set on a non-native resolution it can get funky. Crappy workaround: check fullscreen off, then on again. You can use the arrow keys to navigate the options screens.
