I've just built a new computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13GHz.

Would there be any advantages of me installing windows xp x64?

I'm just using my system for music production, not playing games or anything.

Considering that you didn't even take the time to look through the forums for the hundreds of similar threads I doubt you'll want to look for solutions the problems you'll run into with XP64.
