Not sure if this is best here or Software for Windows.
Windows will save window attrivutes like size and location when you exit the program, this I am cool with.
Here is the problem, in Windows 7 if I resize either IE 8 or Chrome so that it stretches from the top of my screen to the bottom (but is not full screen, I do not need a 1920 pixel wide browser) and then exit the program, the next time I launch it after a restart (I spend most of my time in OS X) the browser will be whatever size it was before I stretched it top to bottom.
Very annoying since in IE 8, that default size is pretty annoying.
How do I fix this such that when I exit the program and restart, the window will stretch from top to bottom.
Also, is there a way to make the taskbar an impenetrable wall?
