Window seat or Aisle seat?

Window. I can go a whole flight without having to pee, but I know the inevitable woman sitting next to me can't go 15 minutes. Taking the window precludes me from having to wake up every 15 minutes to let her and her walnut sized bladder out.

I have stomach issues (35000 feet doesn't help) so I prefer easier/quicker access to haul ass to the bathroom. Aisle for me.

The best seats of all are any of the ones in the first row, either first class or coach.

I don't like window seats because I am tall, and the curvature of the ceiling makes me feel cramped.

After a few unpleasant flights, my only rule of thumb anymore is that any seat is good as long as it is not next to the morbidly obese person, or the chick with the screaming baby.

I do not like bulk head seats for three reasons:

1. no window (usually)
2. tray built into armrest
3. no under seat storage

Give me a window any day. I went back and forth to Hawaii only peeing once in the 20 hours of flight.

That's why wing exit seats are best. Then the only drawback is the tray in the armrest.

But, in a pinch, I'll take a bulkhead seat. You would too if you were 6" or taller.

window seat without a doubt. but the window seats right above the wing sucks! all u see is the wing the entire time

Bah, once you've seen the same stuff over and over it isn't important. The window exit seat over the wing is still best.

Also, the wing exit seats are the smoothest in flight.

just ask to get bumped up to business or first class. Many airlines will do it for free, if they aren't booked up.

Ha! I ask and ask, and in the nearly 20 years I've been flying regularly, I have NEVER been bumped, even when first class is completely empty. 🙁

I have been bumped on more than half of my flights. American is the worst for free upgrades, United is the best, in my experience

Window seats are almost worse than the middle. You have no leg room and are squished in there. Forget going to the bathroom.

Aisle seats give you way more room since you can stick a leg out in the aisle to stretch and you can look around. I'd take aisle any day.

Yeah, but if the plane crashes ... you're goin down with the ship, Captain style

Well, not really, but you have to help everyone else off before you can get out.
Ummmm, don't you mean he is the first one out? Once that door is open it's every man for himself and he is next to the opening!

If Lindsay Lohan & Hillary Duff have the window and aisle seats, I beat you guys would want the sandwich seat.

But then again, they probably travel first class.

Aisle on short flights (1 hr or less) because it's the quickest getting out.

Window on anything longer.

Emergency exit row on all flights ... I love the legroom.

Aisle on international flights which i dont enjoy at all... so i would like to go to the bathroom when i want to and be out of othe plane as fast as possible. Plus you dont see jack during long flights except for water.
