Window/Menu help in WindowsXP

In windows 2000, when u opened a window (like My Documents), on the bottom of the window u would see a bar that showed the details of the files -- like when u selected a file, it would show you the size of the file and stuff.

but in XP, it doesn't have that!

How can i change it so i DO have that?
