window AC

i'm thinking about getting a window AC for my upstairs room... it's getting way too hot in here.

anyway, my windows are the kind that opens up and down, _not_ side to side. will a window AC work on my windows?

Most window A/Cs are designed to work with both styles of windows IIRC.

At the very least, there are seperate models.. but it shouldn't be a problem.

yup... though it is cooler during winter it can also get hot on certain days.
